2010 SONAS

This is the inaugural vintage of Sonas, the blend formerly known as Ulysses. It is the 8th vintage of our singular ‘right-bank’ blend from Sheridan Vineyard. Aromas of crush black fruit, wet stones, earth and spices dominate on the nose. A silky texture laced with rich tannins that carry the dark-toned flavors of blackberry, currants and black plums to the mid-palate notes of blueberry, espresso and leather. The overall impression of Sonas is of a unique wine that is instantly discernible as Sheridan.

WINE MAKER'S NOTES

ORIGIN OF GRAPE
Sheridan Vineyards was established in 1996, and started with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah grapes. With a focus on sustainable farming practices and keeping yields low as the vineyard matures Sheridan fruit continues to offer rich aromas, great texture and distinct terroir.
