This is the most nuanced Ulysses to date. It has a delicious array of flavor. At age 5 it retains a strong purple hue. The nose is that distinctive Sheridan blending of floral and earth notes reminiscent of earlier vintages. The texture is quite silky with super soft tannins. The mouth feel is rich and supple. The dark fruit flavors of plum, loganberry and black cherry are tinged with dark chocolate and coffee. The remarkably long, tasty finish highlights the beautifully balanced acidity that refreshes the palate with each sip.
