2006 SYRAH

This is a subtly sensual wine with a complex bouquet of violets, roses, herbs and a touch of smokiness. The color is a purple-black ruby. The textures, flavors, and acidity are exquisitely balanced. Black fruits, espresso and floral notes are carried on a silky texture and highlighted by the superb acid balance. The powerful finish shows off the soft tannins and savory fruit/herb notes. WOW! This beauty cries out for roast lamb, black cod or a nice round of chevre.
