Classic Cabernet aromas of black cherry, cedar, spice, and leather with a hint of earthiness compliment. The richly textured, powerfully structured palate which features an array of reserved fruit flavors: black cherry, currants and cassis with a subtle touch of cocoa and tobacco. The finish is a sunset burst of nuanced tones of espresso, cassis and anis. Built for long cellaring but tasting very nice now.

ORIGIN OF GRAPE
Like R3, BSH is a blend of wines from each of the vineyards we work with. It is however mainly a Cabernet wine and those lots are primarily Champoux and Sheridan. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc are from Sheridan, Champoux and Dineen all in the Columbia Valley AVA. The Petit Verdot is also from Columbia Valley from Meek Vineyards.
